I'm running a little behind on my blogging, we've been gardening alot this week, I'm having a blast playing in the dirt! Right now I'm cleaning up our strawberry patch, yum juicy strawberries this summer. I love having a yard to play in.
We spent the weekend in Idaho with family, very much fun. On Friday night we went bowling with Farris' siblings and in-laws (except for Geri, you'll have to come next time!). 'Kay, bowling, actually any kind of game, with this family is always...different! We laugh a lot. The rules we played by (thanks, Stacey) were: 1. For every gutter ball, you had to roll your pant leg up. 2. For each pin left standing you have to do a push-up. Yeah, it's been like ten years since I went bowling. Ouch! It's a good thing I've been doing Cindy Crawford's video, thank you Julie. And I didn't count
exactly right a few times. Maybe more than a few times...and afterwards we went to Dairy Queen to eat up all those calories we just lost, and probably then some. I think the next time Farris goes golfing I'm going to tell him he has to do a push-up for each stroke over par. Well, he could do that. Maybe roll up his pant leg? On Saturday we went to Jump To It, one of those places with inflatable bounce houses and slides. The funniest was sticking the kids in velcro clothes and then onto the wall. Felicity giggled and giggled. Sunday was baby Rachel's blessing. She is such a pretty little girl. Tasha, you did good. And it was even raining in my home town, hurrah for that, it doesn't happen near enough. We also celebrated Judy and Kelan's birthdays. Happy birthday to you both! We ended up spending an extra night in Burley so Farris could visit with his grandparents, they are two amazing, wonderful people. I'm so glad I can claim them as my grandparents.
The kids are always funny, but this idea of Felicty's made me laugh pretty good. She came up to me the other day with a big paper with a song written on it and her piggy bank. Her plan? To stand on the street and sing so people could drop money into her bank. Pretty ingenious, I thought.
Caleb was mad at Farris yesterday (and today, too, actually) because Farris dug up Caleb's weed garden. Yes, my little boy is excited to be growing things and weeds do grow the best and easiest. Maybe Farris really owes Caleb a goldfish now.
Joseph...what can I say? He's so crazy, he makes me laugh all day long. And sometimes get close to cursing...He crawled into Seth's carseat the other day and fell asleep. Yesterday he fell asleep on the kitchen counter. Maybe he needs to start sleeping in past 6:30 every morning.
Seth hit his seventh month mark. After watching his cousin Parker zooming around by rolling from place to place, he is inspired and is now rolling around, too. He's trying to get his little knees under him now, but I'm hoping he doesn't crawl for a little longer.
Now, I made this really long blog so you could enjoy my music while you read...hee-hee. Any more suggestions?
